This is a part time position with the understanding that it could become a full time position.

Primary Responsibilities
Create a dynamic & growing ministry where children are excited to be part of the church and live their lives as Jesus modeled.
Oversee children's ministry from birth through fifth grade.
Teach aspects of both the Sunday morning and Wednesday night children's program.
Recruit, train and schedule volunteers for both our Sunday morning and Wednesday night gatherings.
Select and implement quality teaching / curriculum.
Encourage, equip and empower parents to be their children's primary discipler.
Teach through our Encountering Grace study with kids who desire to put their faith in Jesus and be baptized.
Plan and coordinate events related to Camp Calvary, CIY Superstart, community outreach and other events that engage children and their families.
Attend our weekly Wednesday staff meeting.
Oversee, manage and make purchases related to the children's ministry budget.
