ACC Student Ministry

Our youth program exists to help students EXPERIENCE healthy Godly community, CONNECT with God intentionally and personally, DEVELOP gifts & passions through serving others, and LEAD others as a disciple maker.

We use a camper's backpack to help identify this, because we know in the short amount of time we have our students, we want to make sure we PACK THE ESSENTIALS with every event and weekly service we have with those 4 core values above.

Sunday Morning – 2nd Service Bible Study

Students meet together with our leaders for a short lesson from the Bible, as well as prayer and open discussion. This is available to students who are here for both services, and have already enjoyed the first service!

Wednesday Evening – 6:00 – 7:30 pm:

This gathering is where students can hear relevant teaching, connect in groups and have a great time with friends and leaders. We start with fun games that lead into a large group lesson, then split off into age and gender specific small groups, where students will meet with adult volunteers.

YEARLY EVENTS

Tennessee Christian Teen Conference – Gatlinburg Convention Center, TN

Second weekend of January

This is a high energy, 5,000+ students weekend event hosted in Gatlinburg every year. This convention is filled with exciting Christian bands, artists, comedians, and speakers and serves as a great way to start the year for our students.

Middle & High School Retreat - Fall Creek Falls State Park, TN

Second week of June

We rent cabins, hike to amazing heights, swim at the base of waterfalls, have little cell phone service, and ultimately get an up-close look at God’s beauty and design. Every morning and evening we take a look in scripture as to what God says He accomplishes through His creation, and what we can learn by observing it.

High School Camp (with other churches) – Camp Calvary Wilderness 3

Third week of July

This is a 5 day true camp experience without electricity or distractions, where we target an area in our walk with God that high-schoolers experience the most struggle. Here, students are encouraged to take a deep look at their walk with God, and leave feeling empowered to live more confidently in a God who loves them and has given them a purpose.
