Fruit takes time to grow and it can be frustrating to wait for a harvest. Similarly, we don't overnight become a more loving spouse, a more patient parent, a more gentle leader, a more humble servant, or a more self-controlled citizen of God's kingdom. The process of becoming more like Jesus takes time but as we walk with His Spirit, we discover the person we were ultimately created to be.
